Work Plan for this event:
1. Sign marking: During the regular meeting 3/23, we will make signs with Indivisible St J and each issue. We will use guidelines, such as 4-inch letters.
A Handout about Indivisible St. Johnsbury will be developed. QR Code to landing page. (Pat offered to do this)
Participation: Some will be silent, some will sing, some will talk to the press, etc. However, no standing on private property or blocking the entrance to the Post Office will be allowed. (See attached handout on Civil Resistance “What Can I Do?”)
Materials: a. Susan will request that people bring sign making materials to the meeting. 2 b. We will bring American flags, an indivisible symbol. Caution: Please handle the flag respectfully during the event.
Group Activity a. Cards were distributed, and members wrote down what they hoped to gain from Indivisible St. Johnsbury and why they were there. The other question was: What are their interests? The steering committee will compile this information to gain insight into the best ways to develop an organizational structure where everyone has a role.
