Town Meeting Announcement

No Kings Day - Saturday, March 28

To be read by volunteers during Town Meeting

I would like to make the residents of the Town of ______ aware of a public demonstration that will take place a little over three weeks from today, on Saturday, March 28.

That day, people across the United States will assemble to peaceably protest against the illegal, unconstitutional, and harmful actions and policies of the current federal administration led by President Donald J. Trump.

This nonviolent protest is being sponsored by many organizations nationwide. It is called No Kings Day. Participants will obey all laws as they exercise their right to free speech under the

First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

All are welcome, no matter their age or political affiliation. Bring a flag, a protest sign, or just yourself, but please turn out to let the rest of the nation and the world know that America and Americans will not submit to rule by a king.

Please help save our democracy. Our local demonstration will happen on Saturday, March 28, from 1:00 to 3:00 in front of the St. Johnsbury Post Office at the corner of Main Street and Eastern Avenue. Thank you.
